FurnitureBnB is a startup leveraging a combined two decades of interior design and real estate experience to create a new product: fully curated furniture collections for short-term renters. The platform allows users to select furniture pieces by room and style or theme, as individual pieces or as complete collections. Renters can furnish their properties stylishly without wasting precious time researching and sourcing individual high-impact pieces, getting their properties listed on the market faster while increasing their potential value.

Furniture BnB engaged Troy Web to analyze their business plan, define a business strategy, and create a clickable prototype to share their idea with investors. As part of the design process, Troy Web created a pitch deck to present the clickable prototype, which articulated their business idea, market, and potential to scale. Social media is an important factor in creating a positive rental experience, so properties must be photographable and memorable. FurnitureBnB is working to position itself as a leader in that space.
Our Approach
High Impact, Beautiful Interior Design in Just a Few Clicks
On the platform, a user selects a property theme and rooms, browsing curated collections with all the items needed for unfurnished rooms. If a user changes their mind anywhere in the flow, a search interface at the top of each page allows them to reveal additional items and collections. A unique feature of the platform includes conversational feedback as items are selected, mirroring the feeling of working closely with an interior designer walking you through your own home or property. The prototype and pitch deck position Furniture BnB for the next steps in their startup journey: engaging investors to continue scaling.
